Brig. N.S Malik

Brig Narayan Malik (retd), is an alumnus of National Defence Academy and was commissioned in the famous Rajputana Rifles Regiment in 1964. He participated in 1965, 1971 and the Kargil War and won gallantry award in counter insurgency operations in Nagaland. He holds the unique distinction of having served in Cabinet Secretariat on two separate occasions, including RAW. After doing a stint as CEO of a Shipping Company on retirement, he has devoted himself to social service by way of training various categories of people in First Aid, Disaster Management Life Saving, Leadership and School Management and Social activities. He is credited to have trained nearly 40,000 persons in First Aid and Life Saving ever since the preparations for 2010 Commonwealth Games began. Although there is a vast list of accomplishes, the activities have been spread, inter-alia, to Schools, Industries and Hotels etc. A large number of drivers, transport managers and Lines Men have also undergone training under him. He received his First Aid Master Trainer Certificate at the National Sports University, Gwalior.
